Cirque Du Soleil - Kooza

Arts, Tourism & Special Events KOOZA tells the story of The Innocent, a melancholy loner in search of his place in the world. KOOZA is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil: It combines two circus traditions –acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful mélange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor. The Innocent's journey brings him into contact with a panoply of comic characters such as the King, the Trickster, the Pickpocket, and the Obnoxious Tourist and his Bad Dog. Boston Landmarks Orchestra presents Verdi's Requiem

Public Event The Boston Landmarks Orchestra and Charles Ansbacher, Conductor and Artistic Director, are proud to end their second season of The Landmarks Festival at The Shell with a performance of Verdi’s Requiem. Brian Honan 5K Road Race

Public Event The family-friendly run/walk will welcome everyone from competitive runners to friends of the beloved councilor onto a flat and fast USA Track and Field certified course for a sanctioned race that covers just over 3 miles of Allston-Brighton. Participants will start from The Kells of Boston at 161 Brighton Avenue in Allston Village, pass through historic Union Square and onto Cambridge Street towards picturesque Brighton Center on Washington Street. The race continues past Brighton Center on Washington Street, U-turning at Fairbanks Street for the run back. After passing by Boston’s District 14 police station, runners will begin the last leg and complete the 3.1 mile course at the Kells.
