Community Events The Artists for the Humanities nonprofit organization is having a brat fry fund raiser to benefit the Fallen Soldiers and Return and Recovery projects. Over the last four and half years, the Fallen Soldiers project has created painted portraits for the families of the fallen at no charge. Our effort is ongoing. Our work is now expanding to aid those returning veterans of the present conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan by creating a pilot program of art therapy and other means of outreach to help those suffering from post traumatic stress disorder and mild cases of traumatic brain injury. Norman (Jake) Peterson Benefit

Jake was injured in a serious farming accident on July 6th. With serious injuries to his legs and some chest trauma along with all of the bruises and cuts Jake's stay at the hospital wasn't long enough. Jake is now at Manor Care Nursing home in Green Bay.
