The Dance Company is announcing auditions for the upcoming 2008-2009 performing season. Any person 10 years of age or older who has ballet and jazz dance experience may audition to become a member of the company. A panel of judges will score all participants based on performance and presentation.

It may seem hard to believe, but over 9,000,000 of America’s children, ages 6-19, are considered overweight or obese. This number has tripled since 1980. In order to bring greater awareness to not only the ramifications of unhealthy children, but unhealthy adults, you, your family and friends won’t want to miss this Health Festival.
Your kids will have fun spending time in our Kids’ Area, where we’ll have an inflatable Bounce House, games, arts & crafts, piñatas and a variety of contests. We’ll offer free activities and the availability of healthy snacks.
For adults, we’ll have a number of booths offering information on a variety of topics from chiropractic care to nutritional information. There will be a “food court” offering a variety of healthy choices, as well as organic beer and wine. We will also end the evening with performances by a variety of bands presented by Organik Entertainment.
