FAQs
Can I use international date formats (dd/mm/yy) and 24-hour time format?Currently, Trumba Connect supports US date formats only (mm/dd/yy and related formats). What's a permalink? On a published calendar, where you see Permalink, you can click the link to get the URL that you would use to link to the current view. To provide a link on your site or in an email message to the event detail page for a specific event, you:
Permalinks (permanent links) are most common on blogs and media sites. They're useful in situations in which content on a web page is stored in a content management system, where the content that's displayed on the web page changes frequently. The permalink URL contains information that points to a specific entry or view within the database content. It displays this entry or view regardless of what is currently displayed on your web page. In the case of Trumba Connect, a permalink that represents an event detail view remains valid unless you delete the event from or unpublish the calendar. Learn more about creating your own URLs to link to specific views. How do I create a repeating event that occurs on certain days of the week?To set up this type of repeating event, for example, a class or a meeting that happens three times/week, you can create an event that recurs weekly, and then select the check boxes for the days of the week on which the event occurs.
How do I create a repeating event that happens every other week?Click Add Event, and in the Add an Event form, select Weekly every other week, and then select the check boxes for the days and specify the end date.
How can I avoid re-typing event locations that I frequently use?If you add map links for event locations, you'll be able to choose frequently-used locations from a Recent Map Links list. In the Event Information form, after you type a location, click Add Map Link to add a link to a map provided by one of 5 Internet map services. When the link is added, Add Map Link changes to Update Map Link and Recent Map Links appears below it. As you add map links to more locations, the Recent Map Links list grows to a maximum of 20 locations. Locations you choose frequently from the list remain toward the top. Please tell me more about adding map links. When you create your next new event, you can quickly add a location and map link by choosing the appropriate location from the Recent Map Links list. How do I delete multiple events? You can perform actions on multiple events when you view your calendar in List view. When the calendar is in List view, check boxes appear on each event. Select the check box for each event you want to delete, and then click the Delete events link that appears at the top-right area of your calendar. Additional tips
