Grissom High School SHREK the Musical

Synopsis: Set in the mythical “once upon a time” sort of land, Shrek, The Musical is the story of a hulking, green Ogre who, after being mocked and feared his entire life by anything that crosses his path, retreats to an ugly green swamp to exist in happy isolation. Suddenly, a gang of homeless fairytale creatures raid his sanctuary, saying they’ve been evicted by the vertically challenged Lord Farquaad. Shrek strikes a deal: I’ll get your homes back, if you give me my home back! But when Shrek and Farquaad meet, the Lord strikes a deal of his own: He’ll give the fairytale creatures their homes back, if Shrek rescues Princess Fiona. Shrek obliges, yet finds something appealing – something strange and different – about this pretty princess. He likes her. A lot. But why does she always run off when the sun sets? Classic Albums Live Presents: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band

Live Music Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967) spent 15 weeks at No. 1 in the US, won four Grammy Awards, and transformed the aesthetics and mechanics of rock music production forever. From the rollicking music-hall parody of “When I’m Sixty-Four” to the disarmingly profound “A Day in the Life,” Sgt. Pepper is a string of remarkable hits which encapsulates 1960s counterculture timelessly and with unprecedented artistry. The performing musicians of Classic Albums Live, known for their note-for-note recreations, join forces with the orchestra to present, in the words of John himself, “a splendid time guaranteed for all.”.
