Peeps Diorama

Berkeley Branch Stop by the Berkeley Library and celebrate spring by creating a diorama featuring marshmallow Peeps. Diorama should be roughly the size of a shoebox and may contain both edible and non-edible materials but they MUST feature chick or bunny Peeps. The “Peep-tacular” theme should be a scene from your favorite book. Entries will be accepted starting March 1 and must be dropped off by March 22. Brick Branch Learn the American version of Mah Jongg, while we shelter-in-place   It is a tile game of skill and chance for all ages in the rummy family, and is played typically with four people. The game is sociable, competitive, exciting and addictive, one that improves your memory and is lots of fun. The Instructor, Christine Blackford will explain the fundamentals; the tiles and their function to the Charleston and the National Mah Jongg League rules, the terminology and using the current yearly card, to strive for the winning hand. Diane D’Amico is currently Director of News and Media Relations at Stockton University. Prior to that she was an award-winning journalist and editor at The Press of Atlantic City for more than 40 years, covering education, higher education, local and state politics and municipal government. She won two National Education Association awards for her work covering school busing issues and the challenges facing students with disabilities in higher education. She also earned New Jersey Press Association awards for her coverage of education issues in the state. She is a graduate of Georgetown University.
